Valdez named team captain for SEAG

STILL recovering from a right knee injury that she sustained in the PVL Reinforced Conference last December, which also kept her on the sidelines in the recently-concluded All-Filipino tournament, one would think that a Southeast Asian Games (SEAG) stint in May is no longer in play for Alyssa Valdez.

Actually, it is in play and Valdez wasn't only included in the Philippine women's volleyball team for the Games in Cambodia, but also named team captain for the national squad.
