Rodgers leads Texas Open by 1

LOS ANGELES: Patrick Rodgers fired a one-under-par 71 on Saturday (Sunday in Manila) to hang on to a one-stroke lead over Corey Conners heading into the final round of the US PGA Tour Texas Open in San Antonio.

Rodgers, 30, is chasing a first tour title in his 235th career start, one which would gain him a spot in the field for the Masters, the first major championship of the year at Augusta National next week.
