Blackwater has set its sight at signing veteran PBA mentor Jeffrey Cariaso as the team's new head coach to take the spot of Ariel Vanguardia, who was relieved over the weekend after two subpar seasons with the Bossing.
Team owner Dioceldo Sy confirmed the news to the Manila Times Sunday night, April 2, noting that Cariaso's "eye for detail, as well as having been trained" under the PBA's all-time winning coach Tim Cone, was a key reason for their selection.
