AS World Immunization Week approaches, the Department of Health and the Pharmaceutical and Healthcare Association of the Philippines held a media briefing to emphasize the importance of immunization to protect families and raise awareness on the long-term benefits of vaccination.

World Immunization Week is observed every last week of April. The briefing at the EDSA Shangri-la Hotel, titled 'Stronger Together, Vaccination for All Ages,' highlighted health experts' views on immunization and also discussed ways on how to improve vaccine coverage and build confidence on vaccination.
