Banks back Go Negosyo farmers' program

BANKS and financial institutions in the country have expressed support for the private sector-led initiative Kapatid Angat Lahat for Agriculture Program (Kalap), Go Negosyo founder Jose Maria 'Joey' Concepcion 3rd said Saturday.

In a statement, Concepcion confirmed that he met with the officials of some banks and financial institutions on Friday, March 31, to explore ways to ease access to capital for the country's small farmers under the Kalap.
