(UPDATE) REP. Rufus Rodriguez, chairman of the Committee on Constitutional Amendments, said on Wednesday that several members of President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.'s Cabinet voiced support for the House of Representatives' move to amend the Constitution's "restrictive" economic provisions.

"We are encouraged by the statements and position papers of members of the President's economic team and of the Cabinet who share our desire and goal for the country to attract more foreign investments through economic reform in the Constitution," Rodriguez said.
