Chinese embassy confirms talks on joint gas exploration in SCS

THE Chinese Embassy in Manila has confirmed that China and the Philippines are discussing the 'early resumption' of talks on the joint gas exploration in the South China Sea (SCS).

The embassy issued the statement on Thursday when asked to confirm the impending exploratory talks on the joint gas exploration as revealed by Foreign Affairs Secretary Enrique Manalo.
