BATANGAS State University (BatStateU) has signed a memorandum of agreement (MoA) with downstream LNG and infrastructure development company AG&P to upskill its students for employability in the industrial and energy sector under the company's flagship National Capacity-building Support Program.

By virtue of Republic Act No. 11694 enacted on April 11, 2022, BatStateU is the Philippines' National Engineering University. It is strategically located in Calabarzon, the country's second largest economic region, and the largest engineering university in terms of enrollment and breadth of curriculum. It is also a leader in providing higher education across 17 regions in the country.
