UNIVERSITY of Santo Tomas needed to work hard for its sixth straight win, outlasting University of the East in four sets, 28-26, 25-16, 20-25, 25-22, in the UAAP Season 85 men's volleyball tournament, Wednesday at the SM Mall of Asia Arena.
The Golden Spikers rose to 8-1 overall, while the Red Warriors fell to their sixth straight loss at 2-7, still in the sixth spot.
