UAAP baseball: UST shocks UP in first-ever full night game

University of Santo Tomas averted another meltdown by clamping down on University of the Philippines to fashion a stunning 12-6 upset for its breakthrough win in the UAAP Season 85 Baseball tournament on Wednesday at the UP Diliman Baseball Field.

The Golden Sox raised their record to 1-5 while pushing the Fighting Maroons to a share of second place at 4-2 after they peppered UP starting pitcher Jumbo Dela Cruz with four hits to score six in the opening salvo, with Aguilar taking charge.
