CAMP GENERAL ALEJO S. SANTOS, City of Malolos, Bulacan: The acting chief of police of San Miguel Police Station in Bulacan was shot dead by suspected robbers whom members of the town police were chasing in Barangay Buhol na Mangga in neighboring San Ildefonso town on Saturday night.
Col. Relly Arnedo, provincial director of the Bulacan Police Provincial Office (PPO), said the supposed robbery resulted in the death of LtCol. Marlon Serna, acting chief of police of San Miguel Municipal Police Station, and injured Jay Jay Gabriel, a 17-year-old resident of Barangay Soledad, Sta Rosa, Nueva Ecija.
