Expert calls for faster review of cancer drugs

PHILIPPINE General Hospital Cancer Center chief Dr. Jorge Ignacio urged the government to expedite the evaluation of new cancer medicines.

Ignacio lamented that the Philippine National Formulary needs a lot of updating in terms of new and cost-effective cancer treatment.
