A RENEWABLE energy (RE) power plant has been proposed to counter the Occidental Mindoro power crisis.
Christopher Ryan Tio, president of Pag-Asa Grain Center Inc. (PGCI), told The Manila Times that he submitted a proposal to Occidental Mindoro Electric Cooperative Inc. (Omeco) to supply an additional 3-megawatt (MW) of electricity from the RE facility in San Jose, Occidental Mindoro to counter the power crisis in the province.
