P38-M grants train women in RE

TO boost women's participation in energy resilience, innovation and security in the Philippines, the United States government through the US Agency for International Development (USAid) has launched two new grant projects worth P37.9 million ($690,000).

According to the US Embassy in Manila, the Diwata-Women in Resource Development Inc. received P29 million ($528,000) to expand the 'Tanging Tanglaw: Turning IP Women into Solar Engineers' program.
