Rain or Shine coach Yeng Guiao gave two-time PBA Most Valuable Player James Yap's comeback campaign in the ongoing PBA Governors Cup a grade of "above expectation."
The 41-year-old Yap logged in at 10.1 minutes per game, yielding per game averages of 4.2 points and 1.8 rebounds, while shooting a decent 27.8 percent from three-point range. Unfortunately, Rain or Shine's campaign fell short as the team failed to make the playoffs with only 2 wins to show in 11 games.
