Duterte tells party to support Padilla's Charter change move

(UPDATE) FORMER president Rodrigo Duterte has instructed the Partido Demokratiko Pilipino-Lakas ng Bayan (PDP-Laban) to support Sen. Robinhood 'Robin' Padilla's initiative to amend the 1987 Constitution, according to a high-ranking official of the party.

'The PDP-Laban has reached a consensus that the party is 100 percent behind the effort of Sen. Robinhod 'Robin' Padilla to amend the 1987 Constitution,' PDP-Laban Secretary-General Melvin Matibag said in a news conference on Thursday.
