STATE-OWNED Development Bank of the Philippines (DBP), which provides banking services principally for the medium and long-term needs of agricultural and industrial enterprises, has launched a special credit facility for coconut farmers.
"We believe that a robust agribusiness sector is one of the keys to achieving a food-secure Philippines," said Michael de Jesus, DBP president and chief executive officer.
