Syria repatriates 4 Filipino victims of human trafficking

THE Philippine Embassy (PE) in Damascus, Syria repatriated 4 Filipino victims of human trafficking, emptying the embassy's shelter for distressed overseas Filipinos after 9 months.

The embassy, through the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA), said the unidentified victims were assisted in going home 'after a series of negotiations with the host government.'
