ZAMBOANGA CITY: Gov. Sakur Tan said Sulu is now ranked 'number 1 in improved peace and order' in the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM), commending authorities and the public for strongly supporting the peace and development efforts of the provincial and municipal governments.

Tan, chairman of the Provincial Peace and Order Council (PPOC), recently convened the body to provide the public with updates on the security situation, issues of social concern, and other matters relevant to public order and safety.
