(UPDATE) The House of Representatives has suspended Negros Oriental 3rd District Rep. Arnolfo Teves Jr. for 60 days for "disorderly behavior".

With about 290 lawmakers voting in the affirmative and none in the negative, the House, during its plenary session on Wednesday, adopted the recommendation of the Committee on Ethics and Privileges to suspend Teves for failing to return to the Philippines and to work after his travel authority expired last March 9, 2023.
