SEVERAL local chief executives of Negros Oriental met on Wednesday with Justice Secretary Jesus Crispin Remulla at the Department of Justice (DoJ) to discuss the ongoing investigation into the March 4 killing of governor Roel Degamo and the peace and order situation in the province, counsel for the family of the slain official and the other victims said.

Lawyer Levito Baligod said the governor's widow, Pamplona Mayor Janice Degamo, representatives from the DoJ, Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) and the Philippine National Police (PNP) met with Remulla.
