BAGABAG, Nueva Vizcaya: With the growing demand for honey in the international market, the Department of Agriculture Regional Field Office 2 (DA-RFO2) has started conducting technical briefings among coffee and mango farmers cooperatives and associations (FCAs) in Region 2 (Cagayan Valley).
National Coffee focal person Enrique de la Cruz said there is a shortage of honey supply in the country due to the lack of raw materials, not to mention the small number of farmers interested in honey production.
