Marina, Japanese leaders promote eco-friendly technology for sustainability

THE Maritime Industry Authority (Marina) and the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism (MLIT) have collaborated to promote a sustainable maritime industry.

Marina through its Shipyards Regulation Service (SRS) and MLIT through the Japan Marine Science Inc. (JMSI) held the Japanese Green Eco-Friendly Ship Technology Hybrid Forum. Eco-friendly equipment for maritime use was introduced to the shipping companies during the event.
