GREAT Wall Motor (GWM) has officially entered the Philippines through its distributor, Luxuriant Automotive Group Inc. (LAGI). LAGI is also known for its involvement in the tire business, specifically in the distribution of Sailun, Zeneos, Gripper, and Beast tires. As a way to make a bold entrance, GWM will initially offer two hybrid SUVs from their Haval sub-brand, namely the Haval Jolion and H6 sport utility vehicles (SUVs).
Let's first talk about the Jolion. The Jolion is a subcompact crossover SUV that aims to compete with the likes of the Geely Coolray and Toyota Corolla Cross. It sets itself apart with its bold grille that's flanked by a set of tall LED headlights. Those said headlights contain LED daytime running lights as well as a set of horizontal LED park lights that give it a distinct nighttime appearance. At the back, the Jolion has inverted L-shaped LED taillights and a sculpted tailgate. The subcompact SUV also comes with features such as smart entry with push-button start, and a panoramic sunroof, just to name a few.
