Villar pushes passage of Maharlika Investment Fund bill

SEN. Mark Villar has pushed for the passage of the proposed Maharlika Investment Fund (MIF) Act to support the government's economic goals as well as to access the world's sovereign wealth fund community.

The senator on Monday sponsored the approval of the bill establishing the sovereign fund and providing for the management, investment, and use of the proceeds of the MIF.
