COTABATO CITY: To steer and support operational readiness and disaster preparedness in the region, the Bangsamoro government through the Ministry of the Interior and Local Government (MILG) handed over a newly equipped fire truck to the Police Regional Office-Bangsamoro Autonomous Region (PRO-BAR) on Tuesday, March 14, held at the Bangsamoro Government Center in this city. MILG Minister Atty. Naguib Sinarimbo and Deputy Minister Abunawas Maslamama led the turnover ceremony of the fire truck which was received by PRO-BAR Regional Director PBGen John Guyguyon. Apart from the provision of fire trucks, the Bangsamoro government also facilitated the construction of police stations and headquarters and various capacity-building activities for men and women in uniform spearheaded by the MILG's Interior Affairs Services. Also, the BARMM government turned over a total of eleven police patrol cars to the PRO-BAR's respective municipal and city police stations in their law enforcement operations and in combating crime.
