ORGANIZED labor is supporting moves in the Senate for a P150 across-the-board increase in the minimum wage of private workers.
The Trade Union Congress of the Philippines (TUCP) said in a statement Sunday that Senate Bill 2002, filed by Senate President Juan Miguel "Migz" Zubiri, calling for the wage increase would cushion the impact of surging prices which have shrunk the take-home pay of minimum wage earners.
