San Miguel smothers import-less Rain or Shine

Powerhouse San Miguel Beer closed the elimination round schedule on a strong note, clobbering an import-less Rain or Shine, 129-116, on Friday, March 17, as it gears up for the 2022-23 PBA Governors' Cup playoffs.

Veteran Vic Manuel and big man Moala Tautuaa each scored 23 points, stepping up big in the absence of injured starting center June Mar Fajardo, as the duo keyed SMB's second half offensive en route to leading the Beermen to a 9-2 record to end the elimination round.
