Schools must be responsible for hazing incidents -- PAO chief

THE chief of the Public Attorney's Office (PAO) said on Friday that schools and universities must be held accountable for initiation rites that involve their teachers and students even if these take place outside their campuses.

This, as lawyer Persida Rueda-Acosta hinted that lawmakers may need to revisit the anti-hazing law and ban fraternities involved in violent initiation rites.
