Letran Squires win NCAA title for first time in 22 years

The Letran Squires ended a 22-year championship drought with a 77-61 victory over the College of St. Benilde-La Salle Green Hills Greenies in Game 2 of the NCAA Season 98 juniors basketball finals Thursday, March 16, at the packed San Andres Sports Complex in Malate, Manila.

Letran got solid games from back up players Jovel Baliling and Jonathan Manalili who joined hands with teammate Andrei Gemao, the Most Valuable Player in the Finals.
