US govt, Knowledge Channel partner to improve PH children literacy

THE United States (US) government has forged ties with RTI International and Knowledge Channel Foundation Inc. (KCFI) to improve the reading skills of kindergarten to grade three students through radio and television-based learning resources.

The US Embassy in Manila said KCFI has started on March 13, 2023, to broadcast existing learning materials co-developed by the US Agency for International Development (USAid), Advancing Basic Education in the Philippines (ABC+) program implementing partner RTI International, and the Department of Education (DepEd).
