EMBATTLED Negros Oriental 3rd District Rep. Arnolfo 'Arnie' Teves Jr. has left the United States (US) and is currently staying in one of the countries in Southeast Asia for his possible return to the country soon to face the charges against him in connection with the murder of political rival, Negros Oriental governor Roel Degamo, according to the Department of Justice (DoJ).

Justice Secretary Jesus Crispin Remulla disclosed on Wednesday that the latest whereabouts of Teves was part of the briefing he received the other day, saying that the government has assigned people to track the lawmakers.
