IN a case Supreme Court Senior Associate Justice Marvin Leonen described as unique, Public Attorney's Office (PAO) chief Persida Rueda-Acosta and Solicitor General Menardo Guevarra faced off regarding the deportation case of a 73-year-old Filipino American.
Even before the hearing on the petition involving Walter Manuel Prescott started before the Supreme Court's Second Division with Leonen as chairman, both Rueda-Acosta and Guevarra were already seen talking to each other, apparently recalling times when they used to work together.
