MARITIME Industry Authority's (Marina) Deputy Administrator for Planning Sonia Malaluan called for a united stance against acts of discrimination and harassment against women in the maritime industry.
In a message addressed to women in maritime in celebration of International Women's Day, celebrated every March 8, Malaluan said that "women should stand in solidarity with each other against discrimination, harassment and violence, particularly onboard ships."
