Higher ore prices lift Nickel Asia's 2022 net to P7.9B

MINING company Nickel Asia Corp. posted an attributable net income (net of minority interest) of P7.93 billion last year, a slight increase of 1.5 percent from P7.81 billion in 2021.

'Despite the inclement weather that affected our nickel mining business, 2022 remained a good year for Nickel Asia with prices for the metal buoyed by high demand,' Nickel Asia President and Chief Executive Officer Martin Antonio Zamora said.
