Grab PH to provide insurance for drivers

The Partner Cover Plus program will be underwritten by BPI AIA and Chubb Corp.

Grab Philippines said it had found out that only 7 percent of its driver-partners owned an insurance plan. Asked why, they cited high premiums, insufficient understanding and claiming difficulties in the claim process. However, eight out of 10 said they were keen on purchasing their own insurance plan.
