THE secretary of embattled Negros Oriental Third District Rep. Arnolfo Teves Jr. will seek the assistance of the Commission on Human Rights (CHR) on allegations that she was "pressured and threatened" by police to force her to testify against her employer.

The secretary of Teves, identified as Hannah Mae Sumerano Oray, was one of those arrested by the Philippine National Police-Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (PNP-CIDG) following the raids conducted by its operatives in the properties of the lawmaker in Negros Oriental last week. Several firearms, explosives and assorted ammunition were seized in one of the houses during the raid.
