TUGUEGARAO CITY: Farmers cooperatives and associations (FCAs) in Region 2 (Cagayan Valley) converged to finalize guidelines for the implementation of the rice model farm (RMF) cluster funded under the Department of Agriculture Region 2 (DA-RFO2) rice program.

According to Dr. Ferdinand Cortez of the DA-RFO2 Agriculture and Fisheries Information Section, the RMF project is in line with Administrative Order 27-2020 which aims to promote agroenterprise clustering approach to the FCAs in the region as a system to facilitate the delivery of quality palay (unmilled rice) from 100 hectares of cluster areas to established rice milling facilities.
