Catantan secures spot in US NCAA

(UPDATE) FILIPINO fencer Samantha Catantan of Penn State University clinched a spot in the main draw of the 2023 US NCAA Fencing Championship following an impressive campaign in the Mid-Atlantic/South Regionals competition on Saturday (Sunday in Manila) in Lafayette, Easton, Pennsylvania USA.

The 21-year-old Catantan, who is in her third year with the Nittany Lions, placed fourth overall in women's individual foil of the tournament.
