(UPDATE) BUREAU of Customs operatives seized over the weekend a smuggled shipment of shabu worth P80 million at the facilities of Paircargo, a customs bonded warehouse in Pasay City.X-Ray Inspection Project chief Lourdes Mangaoang, concurrent deputy collector of the Ninoy Aquino International Airport, said on Sunday the illegal drugs were uncovered during the conduct of a regular X-ray screening.The illegal drugs were declared as terry towels. The crystalline substance was stitched inside the lining of four puffer jackets.The shipment was consigned to Anie Rose M. Servano of Salcedo, Eastern Samar. It came from Punjab, Pakistan.Servano, who was present during the examination, was apprehended by customs authorities on the spot. He was turned over to the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency.
