Salceda to DoTr: Include funding for BIA expansion

ALBAY Second District Rep. Jose Ma. Clemente 'Joey' Salceda asked the Department of Transportation (DoTr) on Friday to include a P600-million to P700-million allocation for the relocation of the National Grid Corp. of the Philippines (NGCP) towers to allow the Bicol International Airport (BIA) to expand its runways to handle international flights.

Salceda submitted the formal request following a meeting with transportation authorities on the status of international flights from the BIA.
