Peso hits P55.17:$1; PSEi falls to 6,500 level

The broader All Shares also retreated, losing 8.80 points, or 0.25 percent, to 3,540.39.

'The PSEi traded lower after softer net foreign direct investments as the full-year 2022 net FDI was 23.20 percent lower year on year to $9.2 billion,' said Michael Ricafort Rizal, chief economist at Commercial Banking Corp.
