The broader All Shares also retreated, losing 8.80 points, or 0.25 percent, to 3,540.39.
"The PSEi traded lower after softer net foreign direct investments as the full-year 2022 net FDI was 23.20 percent lower year on year to $9.2 billion," said Michael Ricafort Rizal, chief economist at Commercial Banking Corp.
