THE Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) Region 2 (Cagayan Valley) has lauded the Nueva Vizcaya provincial local government (PLGU) for effective management of the 400-hectare Lower Magat Ecotourism (LMET) Park in the town of Diadi.
To further improve their region's watershed management, the DENR-Region 2 committed to extend its assistance for the PLGU's renewal of the 25-year Lower Magat Forest Reserve (LMFR) co-management agreement which has effectively managed the LMET park.
