TNT big man Dave Marcelo ruled the Obstacle Challenge of the 2023 PBA All-Star Weekend, overcoming the challenges posted by favored participants led by three-peat seeking Beau Belga of Rain or Shine big man and Barangay Ginebra slotman Christian Standhardinger on Friday at the City of Passi Arena in Iloilo.

The 34-year-old Marcelo clocked 25.38 seconds, topping Standhardinger's 27.47 ticks. Earlier, the 6-foot-8 Filipino-German big man topped Belga's time, who clocked in at a slower 29.80 seconds, denying the ROS veteran slotman a chance for a three-peat.
