BARMM Parliament approves electoral code bill

MEMBERS of the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) Parliament have unanimously approved a bill that will give the region its own electoral code, its website confirmed on Thursday.

At 11:58 p.m. on Wednesday, presiding chairman and Deputy Speaker Omar Yasser Sema banged the gavel to approve Bangsamoro Transition Authority (BTA) Bill 29 on third and final reading.
