CALAPAN CITY, Oriental Mindoro: With 76 coastal villages across nine municipalities placed under a state of calamity in the wake of the oil spill from MT Princess Empress, Gov. Humerlito Dolor is preparing to tap into calamity funds from the national government.
The governor, with permission given by the Provincial Board, can also put a price freeze on basic goods and give out cash and food donations to the affected sectors.
