Meralco to collect staggered hike in generation charges

THE Manila Electric Co. (Meralco) said that it will collect higher generation charges on a staggered basis to cushion the impact of high prices on consumers.

The power firm said that it will collect around P1.1 billion in generation charges in March and April.
