Gov't to hasten oil spill cleanup – Marcos

PRESIDENT Ferdinand Marcos Jr. said on Wednesday that the government is working to finish the cleanup of the oil spill from the sunken MT Princess Empress in Oriental Mindoro in less than four months.

Marcos added that the volume of oil spilled in the waters of Mindoro was less compared to the 2006 oil spill in Guimaras that took four months to mop up.
