Comelec to pilot test early hour voting

(UPDATE) THE Commission on Elections (Comelec) is set to pilot test an early-hour voting scheme for vulnerable sectors in the upcoming Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Elections (BSKE).

Comelec Chairman George Erwin Garcia disclosed on Wednesday that under his proposal, senior citizens, persons with disability, pregnant women and probably Indigenous peoples will be allowed to vote two hours before the opening of the regular voting hour or from 5 a.m. to 7 a.m.
